As the weather starts to get warmer and we are inching our way closer to May, here are some ways you can stay on track with your nutrition, even throughout the ever-so-popular barbecue and potluck season!

Last week, we discussed the relationships we have with food. While food plays a part of our physiological life, it is also a part of our social lives as well. Being able to make mindful choices about the foods we eat, even when we are not eating at home, can further help us foster a healthy relationship with food and eating.

Here are some healthy and mindful alternatives that can work into your macro/calorie daily intake but also provide you with essential nutrients, and not just empty calories!
